" As some members will know, we have purchased the trumpet owned by WO1 TM "Badgie" HUNT who spent over 20 years as TM with the Boys/Junior Leaders Regiment. The trumpet came with the banner which was presented to Mr Hunt on his last day in the Regiment after 33 years Service.
These items will be presented to the Boys Museum at Larkhill in due course and shown in a display case being built by a Chippy at Larkhill ( by kind permission of RSM Hamlett ).
To go along side the display cabinet Bill Hicks our Curator is making a folder of the life of Badgie Hunt, this will include photographs of him with the Band etc , it will also include stories/memories that we have of him.
If you have any photographs / stories ( hand written is acceptable ) which you would like included in the folder please forward them to Bill or Tom Stimson.
Bill is making two folders, the other one will be given to Mr Hunt's daughter, Susan who Brammie Boys might remember that she worked in the Camp Post Office.

Good afternoon Badgie friends,
A couple of notices:
We have been asked in the past if we have any Association cloth logo badges which can be sewn onto T Shirts, fleeces, pyjamas!! etc.
· We have now obtained costing for a cloth logo badge, its the same size and standard of our latest polo shirt badge, measuring 3 1/4 inches in diameter. We would sell these cloth badges at £7 including pp. Before we go ahead and purchase 50 we need to know the take up. Therefore if you would be interested in purchasing 1 or more please reply to me with the numbers you would consider purchasing. This will not commit you in any way.
· Member Pete Nicholas has requested some advice as to how / where he could get hold of a trumpet he could use to sound Last Post and Reveille at his local Armistice ceremonies next year. If anyone can help please contact him direct on grandad.nicholas@googlemail.com
· Finally, due to some misunderstanding with BT, I may suddenly lose the use of my BTinternet email address. Therefore, if you wish to email me please either use tiger.ted@gmail.com or tiger-ted@exboysra.co.uk
